A new video showing Colin Farrell's transformation into the Penguin for the upcoming HBO Max series "The Penguin" has gone viral on social media. The video, which was released by Warner Bros. Television, shows Farrell in full costume and makeup as the iconic villain, complete with a prosthetic nose, teeth, and monocle.
Farrell first played the Penguin in Matt Reeves' "The Batman," which was released in March 2022. The film was a critical and commercial success, and fans were quick to praise Farrell's performance as the Penguin. The new series will explore the backstory of Oswald Cobblepot, the man who would become the Penguin, and will follow him as he rises through the ranks of Gotham City's criminal underworld.
"The Penguin" is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max in 2023. The series is one of several spinoffs from "The Batman" that are currently in development, including a series about the Riddler and a series about the Gotham City Police Department.
